ABOUT LAURENCE CAMPBELL

Laurence Campbell is an Artist/Filmmaker currently working in Cumbria. The focus of his practice is to develop new ways to experiment with digital art, sound, poetry, animation, installation, and overlapping artistic disciplines. Largely motivated by exploration of isolated spaces in the North-West of England, his work is driven by ideas of journey, collaborative practice/communication and experimentation with process, method and obsolete tools. In evolving these creative systems, his work often involves materials and equipment made from recycled or found objects, enabling a development of artistic language through unusual or outmoded techniques.
